The Copland Foundation
The Copland Foundation operates under guidelines set out in a Scheme approved
by the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2006. The Foundation is managed
at any one time by no less than four trustees. The current trustees
are:
Richard Heathcote - Chairman
Atttingham Trust Summer School 1999 Current Position:
Director/Curator, Carrick Hill, Historic House Museum.
Rodney Davidson, AO, OBE, LLB.
Rodney brings to the Foundation his legal expertise as well as his vast
financial experience. He first met Alex when they both served on the board of the National Trust of Australia (Victoria).
Katherine Kovacic - Secretary

Summer School 2007.
Current Position: Independent Art Curator;
Director CK Minerals Pty Ltd. Katherine was a relative of
Alex’s and is the family representative on the Trust.
Ian Stephenson

1999. Current Position: Chief Executive Officer, National Trust of
South Australia.
Marcelle Scott

Current Position: Conservator and Academic Programs Coordinator,
Centre for Cultural Materials Conservation, University of Melbourne.
Founding Chairman: Janeen (Nina) Stanton (13 March 1948 – 2 May
2009)

Nina was sole Executor of Alex
Copland’s estate.
